About Cristi's Creations

I am a thirtysomething wife and work at home mom of an enthusiastic, wonderful two year old son and a beautiful baby boy. You could also say I'm a bit of a "creative junkie." My biggest creative outlet is that of photographer. However, I am also a blog nut. After months of searching the web, trying to find cute and unique blog backgrounds (and ones that wouldn't erase any of my sidebar elements), I finally figured out how to create them myself. I wanted to "share the love." So, during the Christmas season, I decided to make this little website so that my friends and family could also use the backgrounds that I had made. It's sort of just spread from there. I love doing it! (It's always nice to have another creative outlet and way to give service.) It's totally free - no strings attached. Seriously! If you do decide to use any of them, I'd love for you to comment about what you think! (Commenting helps me know what the general public prefers and which directions to take my future creations.) Thanks! Loves! Cristi :)

It's a Boy!

Allow me to get personal for a moment ...

I am a truly blessed woman. My husband and I have been married for five years. Five glorious, beautiful, fantastic and fun-filled years that we've been truly grateful to celebrate together. For almost the same amount of time, we've been trying to start our family. After a year of trying, we were blessed with a pregnancy, only to have it end in a miscarriage six weeks later. Since that time, for one reason or another, we haven't been able to get pregnant again. That was four years and many infertility treatments ago. And we have longed to bring children into our home!

About a year ago, we started working on the adoption process. There is a little boy at an orphanage in South Africa, named Charlie, that we have been trying to bring home to us. But the process is terribly long and painful. We're at a somewhat stagnant point right now and have been for some time. It could take up to a year, or even longer, before we are able to go through with his adoption.

While we're still hoping and praying to bring little Charlie into our family, we made the decision in the meantime, to move forward with our lives, and start the process of adopting an infant from a local agency here in the USA.

We just barely found out that we have been chosen by a birth mother! She is due in late October and is having a little boy! We couldn't be more ecstatic!!

In honor of this, I have created a few little baby boy backgrounds! I am hoping to get some little baby girl ones made soon too. But for now, I'm being selfish and only took the time to finish the boy ones! :)

Sorry for such a long explanation and for getting so personal. But I felt the need to express my emotions in creating these new backgrounds ...

It's a boy!!

CONGRATULATIONS!! How exciting to hear that wonderful news about being chosen by a birth mother and it being a boy! We were going to adopt at one point, but decided to move forward with fertility treatments first. We were finally blessed with a baby boy and he is now 2 1/2 years old. Best of luck to you!!

God Bless,

I don't know you but I am so happy for you! I got teary eyed reading your post. What a long and trying time in your pursuit to have a child but you will always appreciate being a mother because of what you have gone through not being able to! Congrats!!!

These are the cutest baby boy backgrounds I have ever seen (and I've seen a lot)! Isn't adoption wonderful?! I have 2 family members who are both birth moms. I love and respect them so much and what they did for their babies.

Yeah, yeah, yeah!! We found out the sex in 3 weeks. So, just in case...you have three weeks to make some girls ones. And then when I know, I'm so using one! Yeah! Congrats again!

I just found this blog off of Jamie Donigans...and I have to tell you how thrilled I am for you! It took my husband and I 6.5 years to finally bring a child into our family...but the wait was worth every second once we had him in our home. Adoption has blessed our lives beyond belief, and I am just SO happy for you! Enjoy that miracle!
